Heinz-Dieter Waffel
CEO
Mr. Waffel has served as a senior executive with a number of European and North American power companies primarily responsible for commercial operations. Mr. Waffel spent 21 years at Tennessee Valley Authority (“TVA”) (1977-1998), where he was a Senior Manager. He ran the 30 GW wholesale operations and established the TVA hub. He then served as Chief Commercial Officer and Member of the Board of Management of Preussen Elektra (1998-2000) and was responsible for all commercial operations. He also served as Managing Director of 34 GW E.ON Energie AG (2000-2001) where he established trading as a core competency and established E.ON Trading as a key player in the European energy commodity market. Mr. Waffel was instrumental in the creation of the EEX, and the subsequent pending merger of the EEX with the Leipzig Power Exchange (LPX). He initiated the first wholesale power-trading hub in Central Europe with the creation of the Central European Power Index (CEPI) in 1999. Mr. Waffel actively serves as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of EEII AG, Zug, Switzerland, a publicly traded, Swiss based energy company. He is also a Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Solarion AG, a German solar company, as well as acting chairman of Spectrum Power Limited, a Hyderabad, India based power company.
Mr. Waffel held positions as the Chairman of the Council of the European Energy Exchange (EEX), as a member of its Supervisory Board as well as the Chairman of the energy trading steering committee for the Organisation of German Electricity Companies (VDEW). He was the Chairman of the Electric Power Research Institute's (EPRI) national Powercoach User Group and he was member of the Chicago Board of Trade's (CBOT) Electricity Futures Advisory Committee.
Dr. Magnus U. Sedlmayr

Prior to teaming up with AllMerus Energy Ltd., Dr. Sedlmayr had various leading responsibilities in the VIAG/E.ON Group reaching from treasury, project and acquisition finance, accounting, taxes, asset management to mergers and acquisitions and international corporate development. In his last position in the E.ON Group, Dr. Sedlmayr was Managing Director of E.ON Trading, the power trading unit within E.ON Energie AG. Together with Dieter Waffel, he merged the power trading units of Preussenelektra and Bayernwerk in the context of the merger of VIAG and VEBA and their respective utilities into E.ON Trading, the largest private German power trader at the time. Dr. Sedlmayr was member of the supervisory board of EGL Laufenburg, Switzerland, in connection with the power trading activities of E.ON Energy AG/E.ON Trading.
Outside the corporate world, Dr. Sedlmayr gathered experience in investment banking at Goldman Sachs and Bankers Trust. There, he specialised in mergers and acquisitions, buy-outs and privatisations throughout Europe.
Dr. Sedlmayr graduated from the University of Chicago and the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland each with an MBA in finance and accounting. He obtained his doctorate in economics from the University of Budapest based on a dissertation on privatisations in Central Europe.
Alidad Moaveni
COO
Alidad Moaveni has significant experience with private equity backed transactions in the energy sector such as mergers and acquisitions, project finance, and workouts. As COO of AllMerus Energy Ltd., Mr. Moaveni focuses on transaction management, including structuring, negotiation and execution.
Prior to cofounding MMC Energy UK Ltd, now AllMerus Energy Ltd., with Mr. Waffel and Sedlmayr, Mr. Moaveni helped lead the acquisition of the Newmarket portfolio (approx 450MW) of gas-fired co-gen assets in New Jersey. Mr. Moaveni came to AllMerus Energy Ltd. from the Business & Finance Group of the New York office of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, LLP, where he specialized in Mergers & Acquisitions.
Prior to that Mr. Moaveni was an Officer at the United Nations Compensation Commission in Geneva responsible for claims against the Government of Iraq arising from its invasion of Kuwait. Mr. Moaveni was also Clerk to the Honorable Delissa Ridgway of the U.S. Federal Court of International Trade.
Mr. Moaveni obtained his LL.M. from Cambridge University, Trinity Hall, and his J.D. from the University of Southern California where he graduated Order of the Coif (Top 10%). He received a B.A. (Hons) in Quantitative Economics from the University of California, San Diego.
Georg von Kriegsheim

Mr. von Kriegsheim has been active in the mergers and acquisition sector for nine years. He worked for Ernst & Young Transaction Services in Frankfurt from 2000 to 2005. During this time he advised private equity clients as well as strategic investors in various business sectors. From 2005 to 2007 Mr. von Kriegsheim served as an M&A project manager within E.ON Group (Thüga AG). He was responsible for the acquisition of natural gas sales and distribution companies in Italy. Mr. von Kriegsheim has worked with AllMerus Energy Ltd. since 2007, focusing on deal structuring, financial modelling and investor relations. Georg took part at the ISAF mission in Afghanistan. He was i.a. responsible for coordinating Afghan-led operations.
